Draw this again meme! Frida

In 2011 it all began... My comic series. It started with a small comic idea while I was lying in bed, trying to fall asleep. One idea became more. I was around 17-18 years old, and I hadn't been drawing for years. But I carefully started to make a character, even though I had no drawing skills. After some time, I created Frida. A both better and worse version of myself. On my 18th birthday, I got a drawing tablet, and tried to make comics digitally. I also never had used Photoshop before... But after some practice I got better. My anatomy skills was still poor, but I started to practice drawing (with a lot of help from DA). In 2013, I entered a comic competition. At that time I made my comics using both traditional and digital means. I didn't win, but I was mentioned as one out of 30. I was really happy and proud. It gave me more courage and I actually got a small job in a small local newspaper. I had to make two comics a week (which I've been doing since april now). In august I got myself a new drawing tablet with screen, and started to only draw digitally. Today, the number of comics I've made is 72, and still growing. It started so small, but has grown so much. It's become such a big part of my life. Making comics brings meaning to my life, it makes me so happy, I can't live without it. In a otherwise plain and normal life, comics liven up my days. Don't think you won't go anywhere with you dreams. They always start small. I'm still striving to become a full time comic artist some day. Maybe it will come true, maybe not. But one thing is for sure: No one can stop me from drawing!
